Control Access guidance

Choose a gate operator.

Start with the gate and its use, then compare operators. These measurements and questions help prepare a coordinated selection.

Three pieces of information to gather first.

Movement and space

Swing or sliding gate, available clearance, leaf dimensions and mechanical condition: these factors guide operator type.

Actual operating frequency

State daily openings and closely spaced passages at busy times. A residential development and industrial entrance cannot be described as a rarely used entrance.

The environment

Specify electrical supply, wind exposure, water presence and opening requirements during power failure.

Range example: Fadini NYOTA 115 EVO. The variant and its conditions of use are detailed on the product page.

A manufacturer's published maximum value must be assessed alongside its other limits: length, operating frequency, movement force and installation conditions. A gate must first move correctly and have suitable mechanics.

Also state whether the leaf is solid or open and whether the entrance is exposed. Selection uses the tables and instructions for the chosen version.

For a kit, check the exact list.

Compare the kit reference and contents: number of motors, controller, receiver, remote controls, photocells, signalling, fixings and release device. Some installation parts, foundation boxes, racks or batteries are sold separately.

A kit photograph remains an illustration.

The written product page list and order confirmation determine supplied components. For an announced product, also request confirmed availability and contents.

Gather the information required for a quotation →

Questions to include in your request.

  • What are the dimensions and weight of each leaf?
  • How many passages and what operating sequences are required?
  • What power supply is available, and where does it enter?
  • Must an existing control, access control system or remote control be retained?
  • What manual access and emergency operation are expected?

Prepare a selection suited to your installation.

Provide known references, measurements and operating conditions. Control Access helps you identify products and the details to confirm in the quote.
