Analytics and events
Edge analytics applications detect objects, generate metadata and trigger events. Available applications and their licences must be checked for each device and use case.
Device cybersecurity
Axis Edge Vault protects device identity and cryptographic keys, with secure boot and signed software on applicable products. Network configuration, updates and access permissions still require ongoing maintenance.
Unified video management and access control
AXIS Camera Station Pro combines video operation with AXIS Camera Station Secure Entry. Server sizing, device compatibility and licensing depend on the selected configuration.
Intercoms and access control
IP video intercoms, door controllers, readers and I/O modules combine visitor communication, authorisation and visual verification. Interfaces to locks and powered access equipment require system design and their own safety measures.

Camera, kit and licence: what do you need?
The kits below include an LPV licence for their camera. A standalone camera, an analytics licence and a video management system are separate choices.

AXIS P3285-LVE Kit — vehicle access license plate recognition
A 2 MP dome kit with License Plate Verifier preinstalled for vehicle access and slow traffic. Allow- and blocklists are managed on the camera.
AXIS P1485-LE Kit — free-flow license plate recognition
A 2 MP bullet kit with License Plate Verifier preinstalled for access roads, cities and campuses. A 28 mm tele lens supports camera-based plate processing.
AXIS P1486-LE Kit — two-lane license plate recognition
A 3 MP global-shutter bullet kit with License Plate Verifier preinstalled. It targets two-lane free-flow recognition and reduces distortion of moving vehicles.
AXIS Q1800-LE-3 — long-range license plate recognition kit
A traffic-monitoring recognition kit with License Plate Verifier preinstalled. It processes plates on the camera and provides a telephoto lens for distant views.
AXIS Q1800-LE — capture camera for selectable analytics
A purpose-built plate-capture camera for compatible edge or server analytics. This standalone variant differs from the Q1800-LE-3 kit that includes License Plate Verifier.
Software and licences
AXIS License Plate Verifier — per-camera license
Recognition software running on a compatible AXIS camera. It reads plates, compares them with lists and can send events to access-control or video systems.
AXIS Camera Station Pro — video management and access control
A private-server video management system for live viewing, recording search and export, and access management through AXIS Camera Station Secure Entry. It provides action rules and optional cloud connectivity. Capacity and performance depend on the server, connected devices and enabled features.
Access control, intercoms, radar and I/O
AXIS A1210 — single-door network controller
A compact controller for one door and its readers in an IP access control installation. Local processing keeps door-related tasks running during a network interruption. It integrates with AXIS Camera Station Secure Entry or a compatible partner solution.
AXIS A1610 — two-door network controller
An IP door controller for installations requiring two doors, four reader connections and auxiliary inputs/outputs. Local control maintains door tasks during a network interruption. Its interfaces support door monitoring and access management within a compatible system.
AXIS I8116-E — compact IP video intercom
A narrow outdoor video intercom suited to door mullions and tight spaces. It combines a 5 MP camera, audio and SIP for visitor communication. Integration with access control and video management depends on the selected interfaces and system configuration.
AXIS I8307-VE — touchscreen IP video intercom
An outdoor intercom combining a 4K camera, two-way audio and a customisable 7-inch touchscreen. Its integrated RFID reader with keypad functionality supports access control integration. SIP and VAPIX/ONVIF interfaces connect it to compatible video and telephony systems.
AXIS D2210-VE Radar — IP detection and tracking
A 60 GHz surveillance radar for detecting, classifying and tracking people or vehicles. It can provide detection events to an access installation or complement a camera. Published ranges depend on the selected profile and installation conditions; they are not a detection guarantee for every situation.
AXIS A9210 — network I/O and relay module
A network module for connecting sensors, contacts and commands to an IP security solution. It provides ten I/O ports and one relay, with VAPIX, ACAP and MQTT integration. Optional expansion modules increase I/O capacity without multiplying IP connections.
